Mike Scott is a busy man.  He scours the Net in search of monster collectables, and assembles the images together into beautiful and informative "ads" that hark back to another time.  Update!  Mike now has his own web site dedicated to the first decade of monster magazine covers!

CREATURE FRANKENSTEIN MUMMY HUNCHBACK WOLF MAN PHANTOM

The original Marx monsters were first released in 1963 in blue and orange plastic. The ones in these pics are actually the Uncle Milton reissues from the 90s.  UPDATE!  As an added bonus, Mike sent this pic of two Marx FRANKENSTEIN toys for your viewing pleasure as well!

For the "Things That Could've Been" file comes this BIG CREECH box art from the talented Mr. Scott.  Click that thumbnail and check it out.  What's that?  Not enough for ya?  Then feast your eyes on this comic book style ad featuring the BIG CREECH box art from the talented Mr. Scott, as well as photos of the actual model by sculptor Rick Wyatt!

You know those "Magic Eye" thingies that took the home-decor world by storm a few years back?  Well, just when my eyes have finally gone back to normal comes this 3D CREATURE image from BOX of MONSTERS contributor Mike Scott!  For those who don't know how it works, when the image comes up in the new window, slowly bring your face closer to it, allowing your eyes to go crossed.  Soon you should be seeing all the little CREATUREs floating above their background!  It takes some practice, but it does work, and no, you're not going to see Jesus or American Indians hidden in the background.

BOX of MONSTERS contributor Mike Scott offers this fantastic wallpaper collage of FRANKENSTEIN collectables from the 60s.  It's perfect for your desktop, or for just drooling over!  Click the thumbnail on the left to download the jpeg.  And while you're at it, you'd better download this handy reference key, also compliments of Mr. Scott, that features a few goodies of its own.  Nice!

Franky not your favorite?  Then this CREATURE collectables wallpaper is sure to thrill you to the gills!  Click the thumbnail to get the wallpaper.  Click here to get the reference key.  Hey!  Do you shed a tear every time you see the Creature get filled full o' lead and then sink to the bottom of his lagoon?  Web Master Jimmy does!  If you're a CREATURE fan, you owe it to yourself and to the Creature to download this spooktacular free-bee wallpaper!  And by the way, you can check out more of Mike's desktop designs on The Fantastic Films of Ray Harryhausen website.

Where does Mike get all his images?  Wherever he finds them of course!  Mostly from old magazines (having a scanner sucks, doesn't it, Mike?), but there are a couple of online sources worth mentioning, since they're two of Web Master Jimmy's fave sites...
